Samsung Galaxy S3 Easy phone for Hacking

Dutch hackers have found two serious errors in SIII

Impact
MWR showed an exploit against a previously undiscovered vulnerability on a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone running Android 4.0.4. ThroughNFC it was possible to upload a malicious file to the device, which allowed us to gain code execution on the device and subsequently get full control over the device using a second vulnerability for privilege escalation.
The same vulnerability could also be exploited through other attack vectors, such as malicious websites or e-mail attachments.
The Vulnerabilities
The first vulnerability was a memory corruption that allowed us to gain limited control over the phone. We triggered this vulnerability 185 times in our exploit code in order to overcome some of the limitations placed on us by the vulnerability.
We used the second vulnerability to escalate our privileges on the device and undermine the application sandbox model. We used this to install a customised version of Mercury, our Android assessment framework. We could then use Mercury’s capabilities to exfiltrate user data from the device to a remote listener, including dumping SMS and contact databases, or initiating a call to a premium rate number.

How to setup your HTC Device for flashing with custom Roms

ok this is what you have to do if you want to install/flash with custom rom

This method work only HTC Sensation,HTC Sensation XE and HTC Sensation 4G.I'm not sure about other phone models

No before you start with anything you will have to be sure that you have S-OFF,that you have write super-CID and that you have update to 4EXt touch recovery
If you didn't done all this methods than go to this link and S-OFF,install clockworkModRecovery and write super-CID.For update to 4EXT Recovery Touch we will speak here in this topic

Now after you have done all the things that you should done before flashing with custom rom its time to update to 4EXT Touch Recovery. The only thing because you should update to 4EXT is because most of the custom roms is coming with this kind of recovery and if you make nanodroid back-up with clockworkModRecovery than you will not be able to restore your data  if anything goes wrong. You will see what I'm talking about in the text above. Now lets begin:
-open your phone web browser and type "4EXT.net"
-click in "download free 4EXT Recovery Updater. When the file is downloaded install it
. After the installation is finished click on open and press "online install/upgrade". Allow or click yes in every window that will popup. Than again click on "online install/upgrade". Window will popup press yes or allow and this screen will appear
-Now press on "touch" option and select the latest version by date
-after download the package window will popup saying "flashing new recovery" and after confirming that flashing is done succesfull power off your phone
-Press "volume-" + "power" button
-Hboot screen will appear and select recovery option by using "volume+/-" buttons and phone will reboot in to new recovery touch 1.0.3.It should look like in the screen bellow

So now when you have done updating to 4ext recovery touch go to back /restore and backup your data. Now you have backup your data. Backup is needed in case something goes wrong, than you will be able to restore your data and go back to your previous stock rom/image

If you coming from stock rom and if you want to flash with custom rom which is coming with sense 3.5/3.6 you will have to update your firmware before you flash with any custom rom with sense 3.5/3.6
It is required to flash first the Firmware Package posted by Mike HERE
You have to flash the Firmware from 3.24./3.25.401.1or newer RUU only once for all !

Once you have updated your firmware you can download your desired custom rom. Put the rom as it is (in zip extension) in root of your sd card. Also you will have to do full wipe before you flash with the custom rom . So download THIS FILE  and also past to root of your sd card

NOTE:Before you continue with the steps make sure that you have make Nanodroid Backup

Start your phone in to recovery choose back up/restore and make back up. After you have make back up press back and select "install from sd-card" and  select file that you have downloaded before for wiping (this file "Android_Revolution_HD_Super_Wipe_Sensation.zip". When the wipe is done phone will reboot in to recovery and now you are ready to flash with custom rom. Again select "install from sd-card",choose your custom and follow the steps and instructions on your phone

That is it guys. If you have any problems than post here and i will try to help you

Over 60% of iPhones have now been updated to iOS 6

iOS 6, the newest version of Apple’s mobile platform, is now on nearly 60% of iPhones, merely days after it launched on September 19th, according to web tracking company Chitika. More than 45% of iPad users have also updated their devices to the newest iOS, and iPod touch users are also quickly bumping up their gadgets to iOS 6.

Apple has definitely managed to deliver a smooth roll-out of the newest version of its platform. With a single phone in its lineup and a reasonable level of carrier independence, Cupertino is the fastest company when it comes to updates.

Android is probably the slowest to get new updates, but when it comes to devices manufactured under the officially approved Nexus brand by Google, we’d say they are starting to catch up with Apple. Most others though, including some of the most popular Android phones offered on carriers, for various reasons, take monhts on end before (and if) getting the new Android version.

Nokia might sell their main office in Finland to get some much needed money

Nokia is headquartered in Espoo, Finland, a city that takes less than 15 minutes to get to via bus from the center of Helsinki. The building they occupy is a stunning architectural achievement made out of steel, glass, and ample quantities of wood. According to Reuters, Nokia is so desperate for cash right now that they’re considering selling the building. It’s estimated that the property is worth between 200 million Euros and 300 million Euros. Does this mean Nokia is planning to leave Finland? No. In fact, Nokia probably isn’t even going to leave the building at all. They’ll likely sell it to someone who will then rent it out to them. This sort of arrangement means Nokia can spend less time worrying about real estate, which is a good thing, but it also means that Nokia can decide to leave the building whenever they want.
How should we really interpret this news? The headlines circulating around the internet right now saying Nokia is going to sell the company’s headquarters don’t exactly increase what little confidence people had left in the company. Betting on Windows Phone back in February 2011 is increasingly looking like a mistake. We’re going to have Nokia’s Q3 financial results in roughly two weeks, and the numbers many analysts and industry experts are going to be paying attention to are how much money Nokia has in the bank, how many Lumia devices were sold, how many Symbian devices were sold, and how much money is Nokia receiving from patent royalties.
Will Nokia be around by the end of next year? Probably, but it’s not going to be in the same shape that it was back in the good old days. There’s still so much we don’t know about Windows Phone 8, including this new rumor that says Microsoft is going to enter the smartphone game. If it’s true … what role, if any, will Nokia have in the future?
